Yes. Every security shutter, solar shade and screen is made to the size of the opening it covers.
Who measures and installs?
Our team takes the measurements and does the installation.
Can I control my shutters from my phone?
Yes, with Somfy motors. You can use the Somfy app on iPhone and Android, a remote, a wall switch, or the home automation you already have.
Do security shutters also help with insulation?
Yes. Besides security, a roller shutter adds sound and thermal insulation to the window it covers.
Do you hold an RBQ licence?
Yes. RBQ licence: 5683-0334-01.

Can a security shutter go on any window?
Each shutter is made to measure. During the estimate we look at your windows and doors and tell you what fits each opening.
Where does the shutter go when it is open?
It rolls up into its box above the window, so the view and the window stay free.
Commercial security shutters
Is the shutter operated from outside?
No. It is installed on the outside of the facade and operated from inside the business.
Can a commercial security shutter be motorized?
Yes. A Somfy motor lets you open and close it from a switch or a remote.
Roll-up garage doors
Why choose a roll-up door over a standard garage door?
It takes less room: the door rolls into a box above the opening instead of sliding along the ceiling.
Can the garage door be motorized?
Yes. With a Somfy motor you open and close it with a remote or a wall switch.
Exterior solar shades
Why put a shade outside instead of inside?
An exterior shade stops the sun before it reaches the glass, so less heat gets into the room.
Can I still see outside with the shade down?
Yes. The shade filters the light, and you can stop it part way or roll it up completely.
Retractable screens
Does a retractable screen work on a large patio door?
Yes. It is made to measure for large openings like patio doors, balconies and gazebos.
Where does the screen go when I don't need it?
It rolls back into its box above the opening.

Can my existing shutters be motorized?
Tell us what you have when you ask for the estimate. We look at the shutters on site and tell you what is possible.
Do the motors work with home automation?
Yes. Somfy motors can be integrated into an existing home automation system, or controlled with the Somfy app.
